Residents & Fellows
The Florida Vascular Foundation will provide travel scholarships to successful candidates from a Florida accredited general/vascular surgical training program who demonstrate a commitment to the study, research and promotion of public awareness of vascular diseases. Applications for the 2020 Florida Vascular Foundation Travel Scholarship* will be accepted until Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
The Florida Vascular Society's 33rd Annual Scientific Sessions will be held April 23-26, 2020 at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. Submissions for 2020 will be accepted until Monday, December 2, 2019. All current surgery residents or vascular fellows in the state of Florida are encouraged to submit an abstract for oral presentation. Your submission carries with it the eligibility to receive the Jose "Pepe" Alvarez, Jr., MD Resident Award and/or the Dr. JJ Karmacharya Award of $1,000 in the resident/fellow abstract and oral presentation competition*.
*You may be eligible for both the Resident Award and the FVF Scholarship.
